Big Fat Indian Weddings- Oops its punjabi Wedding this time ;)

Weddings... This topic always attracts me. Not because like all Indian Girls i am keen on marriage and commitments but it always makes me wonder that what is the entire shout out about?
I attended a wedding recently infact i will say just yesterday.
Lavished party I must say and very good hosts :) But, what usually attracts me to weddings (beside food ofcourse) are the pool of guests there... Each one was dressed beautifully and 10 times more than the economic standards. Standing and smiling, comparing their dresses with each other, quality of food, The Groom , the Bride and all topic in the world.
Well, I was on a Topic too... Why do people marry?
To this I was beautifully answered by my Boss (a happily married man in Love with a cute little son) that marriage is an institution of Love (Well, I guess an institution in itself... It teaches us a lot!). Sir said that he is not amongst the one against marriages but my question to everything was that I can understand the marriages done for being together with the one you Love ( a legal permission ofcourse) But, what is the fun of these arrange marriages?
marriages done due to some odd commitments made or maybe just for a welfare to society?

The marriage I saw was huge.. Lot of investment made to make it this Grand ofcourse and every damn person out their busy with their sets of responsibility... Groom side making their presence felt, Bride side doing the Hospitality at its best, Guest enjoying the gossip and food, Bride posing against all those camera flashes, Groom being so shy (yes my Friends, Reality of today... We get some real Homely guys now days!), Caterers, Band people, etc etc all busy... But, a commitment of togetherness have to be really this loud?

Marriges...Ahhh! it is so beautiful to be with the one you are in love with, so comfortable being in his arms anytime you want, Loving his/her faults more coz u will start knowing them more, staying with each other and sharing joy , fights, despair... all at same time. A complete Legal license to bring your fantasies to reality, to grow with each other with time, you bring up each other Love and dreams the same time... And then, we just let these things to go so simply to just please the world... strange though!

My Boss was right... Marry only when you know each other and each other weakness for nothing is more pleasing than knowing that the other person knows all your weakness and is still so much in love with you, ready to spend their life with you... hmmmm... I agree boss :)
but, arrange marriages and marriages to please the world... still not my cup of tea ;)

Anyways.. A wish and blessing in writing... God Bless the newly weds :)

Togetherness matters :)

Awesome video and i must say the song is worth our ears.
I was having discussion with one of my friend and believe me till college for me too the most romantic love stories were of "Laila-Majnu", "Sirhi-Farhaad","heer-ranjha","romeo-Juliet"... and any those die hard romantic stories we ever heard... But, later in my ears and being in relations do I realized that may it be any relation, one thing which matters the most is togetherness.
Yes, any given time I feel that most romantic story is of that old couple who is walks hand in hand in front of me at those public areas declaring to the world, "Hey,we belong to each other."
I mean yes, Love grows with time and it is always valuable when absence makes heart more fonder for it is always the good moment spent with each other we always miss.
So, what is it really being in love... I feel, it is when in the public place you know that everybody is having good time watching your better half and you kiss him, declaring that he can be only the eye candy for other but the real taste always belong to you :)
Or certainly it is about stealing each other time to time knowing that world is aware but still you love being called shameless when it comes to show your love to her or being called even a slut knowing that he will be your only customer you gonna entertain lifetime.
Old myth is prevalent about sacrifices in love, waiting for your love... But, question is ... At what cost?
It was yesterday that parents were so involved with every life decision but today when we do not even buy an ice cream of their choice, why should one believe about sacrificing your complete life?... and buddies, where the hell do they even get nossy about these things?
Its all about believing in yourself and convincing them... So, any Goddamn lover giving an excuse of PARENTS... My advice, Please DUMP THEM immediately.
and life time waiting... what the crap?
I just mentioned... Relations is about togetherness rest is all BULLSHIT!
If it is the compatibility and moreover from both side, both gonna do everything to save the relation, to be together (of course, heights will be dieing together...sansani types) else, MOVE ON... Love is absolutely about what you receive... If you have someone who has always given and is giving then you gonna be biggest fool to leave the person but contrary to it if this person is you.. You can make anybody life beautiful.
It will take time, but do fall in love again... Live the life the way you always wanted but, never ever take away your faith from this beautiful relation for live is short and only one... We all need to live it beautifully and with love.

Tujhse hokar nikalta aaj bhi mera rasta kyun hai...

Tujhse hokar nikalta aaj bhi mera rasta kyun hai,
Kahin chooti mujhse meri koi manzil to nahi..
Faaslon ka kya raha afsaana nahi maloom mujhe,
Ye kaisi kasak hai jo duriyon se bhi hat ti nahi..
Ab kya hai, ab kya hai jo tere mere beech yun reh gya,
Toota hua purana koi sapna to nahi..
Meri hasti dekh kaise roz mitati hai mujhko,
Tere wazood se kahin wo ab bhi khafa to nahi..
Kya hai mohabbat, kya hai mohabbat koi to sikha de mujhe,
Kahin beeta apna jo wo rishta to nahi..
Kaash k ek baar phir baahon me bharle wo mujhe,
Zindagi se itni aarzoo koi zyada to nahi..
